New admissions are generally accepted in the beginning of the academic year up to 15th June. The following procedures have been adopted to facilitate the parents/guardian seeking admission for their wards.
Registration:-
Parents may register their Childs names at our school office on or after 1st February. Registration of the name does not guarantee admission. The names are registered in advance to estimate the probable number of students seeking admission and ensuring limited number of students in each class, to examine the feasibility of opening new division and to establish channels to communicate with the parents/guardian, updating them on the status of their child/wards admission.
• Admission criteria for students coming from local schools following different pattern/syllabus or from the schools that are not recognized in India. These students will be granted admissions subject to admission tests. Students will be admitted to the classes according to their performance. The timetable of the admission tests for various classes is put up on the notice board and the results of the tests are generally announced within a week of the holding of tests. Formalizing of admission in this category is taken up only after the declaration of the results. Tests for admissions from prep to 4 are held in English and mathematics and tests for admission from 5 to 10 are held in English, mathematics and science.
• The students already schooling in India in recognized intuitions or in schools affiliated to the central board of secondary education, New Delhi are admitted in the same class for which they hold the certificate provided their transfer/school leaving certificates are countersigned by the educational officer of the zone. In absence of any counter signature, the students are admitted subject to an admission test. The students must have learnt in the lower classes or in the same class, the subjects which form part of the curriculum in this school. For example, Malayalam/ Hindi/Urdu are taught from Std 1 onwards. New mathematics is taught from prep class. Physics, chemistry and biology are taught from Std 6.
• Admissions for average students or those coming from vernacular mediums are not granted. However, parents of such students are advised to put them under private coaching and prepare them for the classes for which they would be normally eligible on the basis of their age. The students would then be put to test along with the other students seeking admission to various classes in the beginning of the year. Such admissions are granted strictly in accordance with the rules laid down
